| Abstract | This proposal seeks funding to establish and operate a industry/academia network, in the area of offshore wind energy. There is widespread agreement (both national and international) that offshore wind energy has the potential to meet a significant fraction of the UK's electricity needs in the rest country, providing the areas of technical concern can be addressed. The proposed network would not only identify precisely the areas of concern, help from appropriate industry/university collaboration, but also ensure that research findings are published amongst UK industry | |
