Objectives
Abstract FICON-AZBs is an interdisciplinary and innovative project in the field of energy storage that aims to synthesize functional inorganic ceramic oxide nanofibers with high flexibility intensity, which can be designed as novel separators in high performance aqueous zincbased batteries (AZBs). This project will be delivered by the fellow, Dr. Zhe Cui, with a strong expertise in energy storage materials and flexible nanofibers, under the supervision of Dr. Guanjie He, who has a strong track-record in AZBs. This fellowship will provide new expertise and training on: 1) synchrotron radiation and XCT characterization; 2) advanced AZIB technologies; 3) professional development for academics. The fellow will bring his knowledge of nanofiber and energy storage that will complement the project and enhance the current expertise of the host
