Objectives | ||
Abstract | The main objectives of this proposal are:- to raise the profile in China of the capabilities of the UK in electrical power and control research; to develop new links with leading research teams and institutions; and to explore the possibility of collaborative research projects involving academics from Chinese and UK universities. To meet these objectives, two Professors and three Lecturers from the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Queen's University of Belfast, will visit Beijing Jiaotong University, Shandong University, Zhejiang University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Shanghai University and the Institute of Intelligent Machines of the Chinese Academy of Science. The delegation will tour research laboratories, meet the academic staff, give various seminars on control and electrical power research and generally explore potential areas for collaborative research and the exchange of students, research associates and academic staff | |
