Abstract
Abstract created from an advert for a project PhD studentship : "Applications are invited from well-qualified, highly motivated individuals for a PhD studentship. The successful applicant will join an exciting consortium project entitled ‘Through Life Energy and Resource Modelling’, funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council through the Technology Strategy Board. With the participation of leading companies and research centres, including Airbus, Toyota, IES, Cranfield University and the IESD, the three year research project aims to develop a state of the art model of modern efficient manufacturing processes and buildings. The successful applicant will focus on dynamic models of buildings that address, in detail , the scope for re-use of industrial waste energy to improve overall energy efficiency."
