Objectives
Abstract
ACCEPT seeks to bring together a joint UK-India consortium with the skills necessary to address the potential for using Smart Grid technologies to support novel integrated protection and control tools for the prevention of blackouts. These tools would help prevent society from incurring the huge costs and discomfort associated with blackouts and increase confidence in the power system's ability to satisfy the long term needs of society and industry, as the level of uncertainty and risk in the power system increases
