Objectives | The aim of this collaborative R&D project is to establish that a novel conductive polymer composite material can be used to produce low cost moulded polymer composite separator flow plates and end plates for use in fuel cell stacks for a mass market. First stage formulatory programme will be undertaken with the key objectives to prove that the ElectroPhen conductive composite material can be used to produce electrically conductive, mechanically resilient, chemically inert plates of s tandard size and design with the emphasis on ease and speed of production. ElectroPhen will then be used to produce moulded end plates of complex design using computer modelling and CADCAM techniques to allow testing within a working fuel cell. | |
