Abstract | This project involves investigating the feasibility of extending the potential for mLED's patented novel small pixel fabrication process to incorporate additional device capabilities to arrays of microLED pixels. Such additional capabilities could reduce the need for external drive electronics and may be directly applicable to broad area LED devices used in general lighting applications in replacing some or all of the external power supply drive electronics. The potential return of investment of a successful outcome from this high risk feasibility project may therefore be considerable. | |
