Abstract
One of the major problems during the operation of an Oil & Gas and Nuclear energy station is to design a maintenance and inspection plan. Especially in cases where the environment in harsh and the station is not easily accessible (like an offshore platform), the time spent during inspection is crucial and limited. EXIS, a UK based SME with expertise in providing services for data analytics, wants to build international business network in order to enable partnerships for developping and market introduction of a decision making tool for inspection planning and 3D visualization of Oil & Gas and Nuclear energy installations. The output of the suggested platform will be a detailed inspection plan along with the critical points of the installation, real time navigation for the operator, a proposal on the optimum inspection techniques that can be used for the specific site and the capability of training of the operator through the 3D environment. The tool aims to improve inspection efficiency, reduce the cost, train the operators and contribute in initial design of energy installations prior to construction.
