GridWatch

GridWatch is a dashboard that contains visualisations of UK grid data that covers many different areas. It contains visualisations on:

  • GB Fuel Type Power Generation Production (Total, Total %, From renewable sources, from carbon neutral sources, and across 12 indiviudal sources such as Nuclear, Solar, and Coal)
  • GB Electricity National Grid CO2e Output per Production Type
  • Power Grid Frequency

    • It also contians information on Operating Power Stations, along with Widgets that can be added to website to display national grid information (shown below):

    All of the data on GridWatch comes from Elexon, with the exception of the Solar Data that comes from Sheffield University

    The GridWatch site is written and maintained by Mark Stolworthy, who has over 30 years commercial development experience and has worked on many projects of all sizes for many different sectors (Manufacturing, Health, Police, Central Government, etc).
