An ETI Perspective - Tidal energy is a form of hydropower that converts the energy obtained from tides into useful forms of power, mainly electricity, offering low risk and zero emissions energy. This short document summarises the main outcomes of phase 1, and introduces phase 2 with the MeyGen project, a new tidal stream generator in the Inner Sound of the Pentland Firth
