Objectives | To demonstrate using case study examples the benefits the freight indsutry can make by using aerodynamics on tractor units and semi-trailers.
Abstract | This Case Study, featuring TNT and Somerfield shows how the use of aerodynamic features have achieved fuel savings for both fleets by using double-deck trunking operations, redesigned roof trailers and by undertaking a study of both aerodynamic vehicles and non-aerodynamic vehicles.
