Objectives
Abstract This proposal seeks funding to continue to operate an industry/academia network, in the area of offshore wind energy. There is widespread agreeme (both national and international) that offshore wind energy has the potential to meet a significant fraction of the UK's electricity needs in the rest coun providing the areas of technical concern can be addressed. The network would not only identify precisely the areas of concern, help form appropriate industry/university collaborations, but also ensure that research findings are published amongst UK industr
