User Research Survey

"HIGH5 for AI" aims to create a collection of APIs across different NERC data centres that anyone can use to connect their data and use with AI models. This is a NERC / EDS project, a collaboration between: Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC), British Geological Survey, UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology (UKCEH), the National Centre for Atmospheric Science (NCAS) and the National Oceanography Centre (NOC).

Due to the potential volume of the project, we are currently focusing on two specific use cases

1. Planning sites for offshore wind farms
2. Designing access to blue-green infrastructure & spaces (eg: beaches, parks)

There are two ways you can support us on this project:

1. User Research Interviews (45 mins, recorded, carried out online) - We want to hear from anyone in sectors who currently utilises environmental datasets within the remit of these two use-cases (whether they're EDS datasets or not) - for example: Architects, Construction Managers, Engineers, Regulators, Sustainability Consultants / ESG Consultants, Insurance agents, Urban planners, Licensing Authorities etc.
2. We're also looking to speak to the more 'technical' users - the individuals 'wrangling' the data (so to speak)… anything from Developers to Technical Architects, Technologists etc.
