Abstract:
The ETI has completed an extensive analysis of likely future UK requirements for CCS new build and retrofit power generation and has examined the economic potential of the most promising ‘next generation’ technologies. To achieve its vision of supporting the development of transformational capture technologies the ETI is now, through this Request for Proposals, is seeking detailed and specific proposals for a technology development project targeting decarbonisation of CCGTs specifically Low cost carbon capture from CCGTs, specifically including new build and economic retrofit of existing CCGTs.
